A quadrature hybrid coupler is a power splitter that produces a 90° phase difference between its two outputs. Marki hybrid couplers feature a broadband 50Ω match, low amplitude and phase balance and high output port isolation. These are commonly used in applications such as balanced amplifiers and quadrature signal generation for IQ and image reject mixers. While MQH series hybrid couplers are reciprocal devices with any port being able to be used as an input, MQS series splitters are not reciprocal.
