Chief Executive Officer
Christopher Marki is the CEO and chief technologist of Marki Microwave. Since joining in 2007, he has led the innovation and development of numerous commercially successful products, including mixers, multipliers, baluns, amplifiers, switches, filters, power combiners/dividers and couplers. Under Christopher’s leadership, Marki Microwave has grown over 800% and has established itself as a global leader in classical hybrid RF manufacturing and cutting-edge semiconductor development. Christopher holds a doctorate in photonics from the University of California, San Diego and graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a BSEE.
Chief Commercial Officer
Duncan Pilgrim is an experienced technology executive with more than 30 years in the RF and semiconductor industry. He joined Marki Microwave in 2020, bringing with him a proven track record of defining and executing long-term strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth. As Chief Commercial Officer, Duncan oversees the company’s sales, marketing, and applications organization, and is responsible for shaping the commercial strategy and delivering on the company’s growth objectives. Before joining Marki Microwave, Duncan served as RF general manager at both IDT (acquired by Renesas) and pSemi, where he led business units to strong growth and market success. He also held vice president of marketing roles at pSemi and Sequoia Communications, where he guided product positioning and market development strategies. Earlier in his career, Duncan worked as an RF integrated circuit designer and provided technical applications support to customers, giving him deep technical insight that continues to shape his leadership approach today. He received his MBA from Wake Forest University and holds a BSEE from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Vice President of Global Sales
Kris Rausch is a proven semiconductor sales and business unit leader with over 30 years of industry experience, ranging from startup to enterprise scale. He brings Marki Microwave deep expertise leading dynamic sales teams and cutting-edge RF portfolios. For the last five years, Rausch served as vice president of sales at Renesas, managing its worldwide broad market sales and distribution channel across all business segments. Before that, he was the vice president and general manager of IDT’s timing business unit, generating double digit annual growth and solidifying the company as a leader in AI and data center markets. Rausch holds an MSEE and a BSEE, both from the University of Virginia.
Vice President of Operations
David joined Marki Microwave in 2020 as vice president of operations. With over 30 years’ semiconductor research, engineering and operations experience, David has brought vision and leadership to Marki’s operations organization, transforming the company’s manufacturing footprint and broadening its ability to deliver cutting edge, high frequency RF and microwave products on-time and with highest quality. Prior to Marki Microwave, David held positions as senior director of product engineering at Renesas Electronics America and director of product development engineering at pSemi. David holds a doctorate and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, UK. He is primary author on four patents, co-author on over 20 research papers, and has been session chair at several internationally recognized scientific conferences.
Vice President of Engineering
Since joining Marki in 2011, Doug has guided the product development and technical support for nearly all of Marki’s modern portfolio and engineering staff. As vice president of engineering, Doug is responsible for ensuring the technical success of our customers through technical support and communications. He received a doctorate in photonics from the University of California, San Diego and a BSEE from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Vice President of Legal
Bruce joined Marki Microwave in 2020 as a legal consultant, and in 2022 became vice president of legal/general counsel. He brings over 35 years’ experience at technology companies, starting as an engineer, then working as a top sales and marketing executive, and for the past 15 years as a legal executive. Bruce is experienced in all aspects of corporate, commercial, and IP law, and leverages his unique decades of engineering and business experience to inform his current legal practice at Marki Microwave. He is admitted to practice law in three countries, as well as being qualified as a U.S. Patent Attorney. Bruce earned his Juris Doctorate with honors in 2008 and holds has a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering.
